About Me

I’m an amateur photographer. Preference are street photography and candid. I’m trying to capture the decisive moment, the moment that the soul of the subject is unveiled. All pictures are taken by surprise. No picture is posed. The reactions of the photographed people are very different, ranging from recognition to a deep anger. Pictures are token in respect of the human being.
My preference go to black and white photography, so the scenery is reduced to its essence.
Workhorses are Fuji X-H1, Fuji X-H2S, Fuji X-PRO2 and when I’m going light, the Fuji X100S.
Used lenses:
Prime lenses: Fuji 16mm f/1.4, Fuji 35mm f/1.4, Fuji 56mm f/1.2, Fuji 90mm f/2
Zoom lenses: Fuji 10-24mm f/4, Fuji 18-55mm f/2.8-4.0, Fuji 50-140mm f/2.8.
For street photography, primes are preferred lenses, mainly used at full aperture.
In the past I worked with Asahi Pentax Spotmatic, Zenza Bronica S2A and EC with Nikkor Lenses, Nikon D200, D300, D800. Now I’ve switched completely to Fuji camera.
